Custom frame made from carbon fibre sheets

just wondered if anyone has tried to make there own frame. Ive found 2mm thick A4 sheets for about £20 and have thought it would be pretty cool to make my own custom frame. Id still used a 250 as a sort of template but change little bits of it.
If anyone has done this or could give any tips would be much appreciated thanks

Pretty slick, but geez I'd hate to crash it. I'm thinking it must weigh quite a bit too
with the 3d print still inside there would be unnecessary weight,,,,, but there are filaments that are out now which dissolve in certain soloutions.. -so just left with the carbon fiber shell..

How are you planning on cutting it?

jigsaw would be the easiest tool. I'm a carpenter so would just change the blades on which ever tool i use, I've cut and shaped fiber glass before so wouldn't be that different. I'm currently making my own quadcopter atm but with a generic QAV250 frame ill make a video of the custom frame when i get around to making it.
