Crash video. I screwed up & crashed my homemade quadcopter.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. Like a dummy I forgot to change the remote back from my hexacopter to my quadcopter. Surprisingly there was very little damage. I knew something was wrong but it was too late.

 
Yes, the last drone I flew with the same remote control was a hexacopter, the one I put the gimbal on. When I flew the quadcopter I forgot to change it back to that specific setting.
 
Maybe since the Futaba controller is bound to three rx's that are identical plus three Naza flight controllers, it worked sort of.
 
I don't understand this. I was told, and I always paired my Transmitter to my quad. It seems to me that that is enough. It also seems to me that if the Transmitter is paired to another quad, using it for an entirely different aircraft, with out pairing to it, that aircraft is not going to fly at all. I know that that may be a simplistic understanding, but simple makes for simple problems if any occur. As an example, my controller for my Hubsan X4 will not work with my UDI818A Quad. Shouldn't it? They are both quadcopters running in the 2.4GHz band. They should be interchangeable, right? But they aren't. So, I don't really understand what happened here.

My guess is, it is not pairing to the quad but pairing to the receiver. Since I have three identical receivers it probably just sees it as one.
 
Your Tx is only going to connect to one rx at a time,which is connected to 1 naza.
Yes, but it (tx) was set for my hexacopter which I was not flying. Unfortunately, I forgot to set it back to my quadcopter which it successfully armed. I have two hexacopters and one quadcopter, all three have the same RX aboard. I believe that was the problem.
 
I can't see how that happened I have 2 ia6b rx's both quads had batteries supplied to them. But only one would work. It looked like it not only armed but you had control for a bit.
You will have to be more careful next time. o_O
