Connection issues arris

arris got my arris fpv250 today and I connected the fly sky remote. Then I went to connect the quad to my Mac so I can setup using open flight and it will not connect. I also tried using windows and still nothing. The quad lights up green for power and blue status light but the open flight program won't recognize it. Any help would be much appreciated.
 
Just hope it's the USB cable you are using. They aren't all alike, +/- is universal on all (the outside pins). But the data pins (in the middle) wiring can vary. Try others.
