Confused what to buy

I bought syma x5c yesterday. Then I realized headless mode is necessary until you get better. Today I felt that I'm pretty good at controlling quadcopter so I want a little high not so much maybe 15 meters high and 20 meters away from me. But getting it back to me was hard and it got stuck on tree. After trying a lot getting it down , I decided it's impossible so lets buy another.

The only feature that I want is when I lose control or lose the signal I want the quad to fly back to me when I press a button.

I searched a lot and watched lots of video reviews but none of them mentioned any thing about what happens when u lose control. Some say that return to home is a hit and miss feature

Please suggest me something that can come back to me

Thanks

A button for " fly back to me" can be found on some not too expensive quadcopters, although it doesn't always work reliably, but the "when I lose control" option will only be found on expensive ones.

Try this guys reviews, he seems to test that function more than most.

A full on return to home feature requires GPS and is going to be on a whole new budget level. Headless mode is not something you want to rely on and very unreliable. Get a new Syma BNF to replace the other one , they only cost $22 and are in the US warehouse http://www.banggood.com/Syma-X5C-Ex...tter-BNF-p-948193.html?p=2O21111526893201504H Take your time and learn to fly properly. Things will be much better for you in the long run. You could try climbing the tree to get the other one down as well. The Syma is a magnificent beginner bird, IMO the best toy grade quad to learn on. Learn to love it !! lol

It is not. Some would say it's a crutch that will slow down the learning process, and with toy quads it often doesn't work very well anyway. Never really used it myself.
Yes haha, you get used to it and it is harder to quit. I have tried it, but can never get the hang of it, as it feels really weird.

I've not been flying my X5C-1 long so I never had headless mode but even I am now capable of banking and spirals etc.
I understand headless mode if this is your first foray into this hobby though.

Hi thanks for the reply.

I bought the bnf one, but after couple of crashes it doesn't take off any more. The max height it can go is 1 ft now. I changed the batteries and props. They spin fast no ideas what's wrong with it

I still wish to buy something that can come back to me as a fail safe. Especially when I'm about to hit something. Tried parrot mini drones they can't even stand small breeze.

I didnt find anything which is beginner friendly except dji phantom.

Don't take me wrong but can you just tell me a drone that can come back to me at least in a straight line instead of suggesting me to struggle a lot just to have some fun

Post the link you bought, sounds like the batteries did not charge, have you any way to test them?

Never mind I lost it again on top of a house. Cuz I couldn't find which direction its facing.

Seriously I asked only one thing, when I press a button I just want the drone to come in my direction

Why is it so hard to answer
