Can't bind

I can't bind my fs i6s transmitter to Redcon cm703 receiver.
I have spent most of today trying,

I insert the bind plug in the receiver, plug in 5 volt from BEC.
Receiver light flashers fast.

Turn on the transmitter, select model2, goto bind RX.
Wait for about a minute, and the ligh still flashers fast.

Is it faulty?

Hi mate I dont use futaba but on spektrum you need to hold the bind button and be about 6 feet from the receiver to get a good bind

Is it just me or is this forum doing more damage control after the fact? I don't blame the forum for the mistakes and miscues of those that solicit help, but wouldn't it be more feasible, and less costly, if those that need help ask for it BEFORE the buy something? All the recommendations above should be labeled "should have checked first" and not "help, I'm screwed because I didn't check first". Less wallet pain and more confidence...

Do you mean to say that the FS i6s transmitter is not compatible with the Redcon receiver?
I do own a multimeter, not sure how that will help in this case.

Can anyone tell me if the FS-I6s is compatible with the Naza M lite? I have read both Manuals and have watched countless videos. The bind part I have done but I get no response when I move the sticks.

Hi RC clay this may help
Thank you Holtneil, I have tried to understand what they are saying, even following long with separate computers. I guest my biggest concern is that I have the wiring setup correctly. I the have tried so many different ways and I still can't power up my motors. SMDH. My frustration is the transmitter won't communicate to the receiver and the MC doesn't respond to neither. LOL... You would think it was almost elementary. I'm thinking, maybe, the FS-iA6B is set up like Futuba, maybe? Please excuse the rambling.....
