I would agree, except the tip was like this picture the piece has the specified length out the top. Also it is the interior wire that matters so I wasn't certain if soldering it would matter since the end is already made to have the right exposure...i believe you have to do what the video says, the length of the wire is very important so stick to that,,
Sounds like a bad deal. You could have gotten the newest, most advanced FS- i6X with the latest lightweight X6B RX, note the easily replaceable antennas.they sent me the model another FSi6 Tx, and a damaged receiver which is fine for PPM all for $120 CA!)
