Bluetooth Upgrade for camera

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site. My girlfriend just got me a Syma X5C for Christmas and I was curious if there is a way to upgrade the camera so I can watch the videos on my phone while its in flight. I know there are some upgrades you can do to these, but like I said I'm new to this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also is there any advise on what upgrades are a must or what ones to stay away from? Thanks

What type of budget are you talking?

I was looking for something kinda cheap (<$100) and easy to do. I do not have a lot of experience with electrical wiring and soldering. Thanks

As far as upgrades, the most common is a the "range" mod which gives more flight range before losing signal.

Its a simple process and ,quite low cost to do and, it involves adding a much better antenna to the transmitter or controller.

Another upgrade is using a larger sized battery but within a reasonable size..Unfortunately the x5c is pretty much at its weight limits with any of the stock cameras attached and ,any much more weight will burn up motors fairly quick as well as make it seem "heavy" in flight.

Some who dont care for a monitored flight will go with the option of an 808 #16 camera which houses its own battery and will give you longer flight times as the main battery isnt having power drawn from it...most mount the camera removed from its case to save further weight.

Some like to remove all the prop guards and camera to get longer flights and more aggressive flight.

A more expensive upgrade option is to use a nano fpv camera system.

Other than that there is really no more "upgrades" for it..Its designed to work well for what it is in its price range and, a great starter quad to learn on.

Thanks for the help, I'm looking into it and will probably make the purchase later this month. Any advice on reliable dealers or good places to get parts or accessories from?
