Hey i currently own a set of these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and was wondering which revision/version of the latest BLHeli firmware i can flash onto them. As they are a generic ESC, i would like to know what firmware is compatible with them.

Thank you in advance!

Hi mate they are already flashed with Simonk. But to flash with blheli your have to open them to see what chip set they have and if they flash on the chip or a jumper tool
Simonk software is good any way

I have already connected them to the BLHeli suite through my Naze 32, I would just like to know what BLHeli firmware is compatible with them.

Alot has to do with the chip set HEX code if you flash the wrong HEX you could brick the ESC , go on to multirotor flash tool done by lazyzero if you down load this and then look up ESC flash as if your going to flash the ESC there are links to go to code list for the ESCs and your see loads of different ESCs listed and what HEX code they use there are also Photos of the chip sets ,you may have to open the heatshrink on the ESC to see what chip set it has to be 100% right before you flash one plus your need the flash tool to flash the ESC with
the other way is keep the simonk one for another quad and buy some BLheli ones from Hobby king

The software is called a flash tool but then there is the hardware flashing tool which may need to go on the top of the chip or some flash jumpers pins at the side of the chip

I was doing some reading and it looks as the simonk flashed ESC can take the BLheli as the chip set is the same this is what is on the multirotor flash tool site
SimonK BL-ESC firmware and Wii-ESC can be flashed to any by the firmware supported ATmega8 based BL-ESC. If you updated your ESC to SimonK firmware version 01.06.2012 or newer and enabled the bootlader you can later reflash the ESC with the ArduinoUSBLinker, Afro USB Programming Tool or the Turnigy USB Linker simply via the Servo plug. I already use successfully HobbyKing 10A with bs.hex, F-20 (HobbyKing 20A)EU Warehouse and F-30 (HobbyKing 30A)EU Warehouse both with bs_nfet.hex.To get more informations on how to flash BL-ESC see also the KKMulticopter Flashtool manual. And the How to make a ArduinoUSBLinker

Thank you for your reply but i already know how to do all this, i only need to know which firmware the ESC's support. (Which HEX file do these ESC's support?)

The wiring on these seem the same as the really cheapo ESC dressed in ghasty bright yellow heat shrink. I got in a set of foour to try them.... they get hot just sitting connected while I set up on LP.
These are made by FlyColour and I contacted their sales.... he tells me they CANNOT be re-flashed with SimonK or anything else!

Hopefully yours are not the same - but here is a link to download the spec sheet FlyColour sent to me - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50025868/Uploads/FlyColourESC.pdf I did not see what frequency these run on.
