Best Syma X5c replacement motors shop?

Howdy all, I have been trying to find any shops with genuine syma x5c replacement motors. BG doesnt mention original nor does Gearbest. only couple ALiexpress shops mention 100% original, but who knows with those shops.

Long story short, not all motors are equal and make replacing it difficult. :(

I have a x5c (not Syma) its a Syma x5c clone, same as this shown here, sometimes the boxes differ but this is the one: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2015...1644_4_79_78_77_82_80_62_81,searchweb201560_4
I had a motor burn out from first few flight because of a crash that somehow broke a gear (it was split but still installed on the shaft) and I didn't notice till too late, the drag that it created on the motor, that eventually killed it. I then ordered 2 sets from 2 different aliexpress shops. But once I received the motors and installed the replacement it was well obvious not up to par with the original ones, the original were stronger. You can realize this when punching it up or throttling it or after a flip coming into a hover etc. I then replaced that replacement motor with a motor from the second batch. But it gave same performance. I kept it like that for sometime till it became annoying, now I switched out the remaining 3 motors but somehow now one of them is not up to par with the rest. Now im in the process to find out which motor or which two are not up to par, making it difficult to find out, but gets increasingly annoying and unstable as the battery decreases voltage..

Anyone have success with replacement motors? kindly suggest the shops you got it from please and thanks!!
Sorry for the long story post!

could they have changed the spur gear? but the pinions still show 9 teeth on all motor replacements so even if they changed the entire motor holder shouldn't cause mesh problems.

The motor holders are very chintzy things, and even one grain of sand on the gears can cause problems, or a small nick that can only be seen with a magnifier. On my used and abused Syma like Q7 all were eventually replaced.

Does that Q7 have the same pitch and roll angle as an X5c? Here is my Syma like quad, it has headless mode, flips better than the X5c, and has great yaw but sadly doesnt have the pitch and roll angle as my syma X5c-1. Here it is branded as a Bo Ming Toys M1 - 1 X - 5 at gearbest

I went ahead and switched out ALL the motors to the other aftermarket batch, but CCW front motor died within 5 mins, and I replaced it with the other batch (imagine how many screwing and unscrewing this thing has went through). It still flies funky. Might replace the originally burned out side with an original motor and see if it is a PCB issue I would have put a strong motor on a weak transistor side (or weak accelerometer side).

The original motors it came with have groove JL on them, wish I can find out how to order some of those since they definitely impressed me.

You are looking at the motors as the cause of your problem, when it may actually be a symptom of an underlying cause. In this case the motor mount. I didn't replace the motor mounts on mine just for grins, I had to to get it flying properly again.

Good luck.

But all 4 ends move freely and equally free, how could they be needing changing. No binding, no dirt, no gaps, spurs are great and pinions are new. they are all still in great shape!

I always check for free movement before flight and after any crash...
