I've researched this extensively on the interwebs and have not really found an answer so I thought I'd ask the most knowledgeable people I know:

Will this adapter allow me to use batteries intended for the Syma 8x with my bugs 3:

I believe the bugs 3 has t60 connectors(?), and the Syma has banana connectors(?)

Thanks in advance,

Any and all comments welcome.

The answer is yes, your lipo is XT60 & the quad is banana plug then yes. Why not just change the connector to what suits you best.
I search for the lowest price lipo I want then just swap the connector out for what suits me. It's really simple.
Prep the connector+- with solder,
Cut the black wire peel back 5mm apply some solder to the tip & some heatshrink.
Solder to appropriate side.
Pull heatshrink up. Then do the same for the red. Changing the female on the quad should be even easier.

If you intend to buy a few batteries, it may just be worth changing the connector rather than use an adapter.

No those will not fit Syma bats.

You need this type.

Okay fellas thanx for the replies, looking for a t30 to banana connector.

I don't really want to change connectors because the ability to use one battery in two different quads is what I'm hoping will work.

Yep I've already got a three pack of those batteries they work great. Thanks for the links, I knew I was asking the right folks.

Btw those 2200 mah batteries you linked have worked very good in 100's of flights on my Syma. Those are the exact ones I want to try on my Bugs 3.

I got a couple toy drones and each has its own connector so I've just started soldering everything to XT60.

1 however due to the connector being recessed, simply bought a xt30 to xt60 adapter. Makes charging and using the batteries easier.
