Need to get a camera, sooooooooooo many options. :)

This caught my eye.

Same price as a Mobius, but comes with a whole lot of stuff. :)

Certainly looks very nice here.

These tests always have to be taken with a grain of salt, that said overall it looks like a winner. And a plus for me is the WiFi app runs on my Kindle (it's a finicky thing with an older version of Android). :)

Those are things that can be tweaked. The Xiaomi suffers from QC problems and often has to refocused, many time things look soft in the distance. It also lacks the Amkov's LCD screen, which means WiFi is a must. To me it was on par to the Gopro.

Yup, that is so true, a lot of the yi cam had to be refocused, but my experience with cheap actioncam, even it has the same resolution (1080p) but the bit rate is different, when the video is viewed on a larger screen, the quality of the video can clearly seen. But for the price, i think it is a good value for the money

You may find this guy's reviews interesting and very comprehensive, he also offers raw footage downloads for those who want to see actual un-YouTubed results.

Although no WiFi this camera seems very nice and a steal at Mobius prices. And a very complete kit to boot.

I'd be interested to know what you think of the downloaded clips.

Wow, i think this one is better, i saw the downloaded clips, no complain there, it looks great. The dynamic range is good, sometimes the sky is a bit over exposed but still at a reasonable range. And i think the low light performance is excelent. And it got 2 batteries.
I choose this one over xiaomi yi

Just remember something, try looking for altek cubic.
It is not an action cam,but the sensor is great, it doesnt have mounts like action cam, but the size is about the same as an action cam. The cons is that it doesn't have lcd, and all is controlled via an app over wifi just like the xiaomi yi.

Well I'm glad we had this conversation. You've help me decide. I need a camera to do some reviews and some aerial work. The Dazzne also seems to have very nice audio. No pressing need for WiFi anyway. :)

Yup, the one that really sold me out is that dynamic range. When the guy entered a tunnel, even there is a very bright light at the end of the tunnel, you can still see the details inside the tunnel, not every action cam can do that, it usually jast darken the whole shadow area to make the bright area properly exposed
