A silly question from a 5 days old newbie

It your flying indoors try and hover with quad facing different directions if you master this you won't need headless mode
I am able to do that with relative efficiency. But my living room is only 20 ft long. I can see where my quad is facing.
However, when in an open field and my quad is 1oo ft or more away, and my quad changes directions, I am not sure I know which direction my quad is facing.

Thank you.
One thing perhaps some members do not realize.
I'm in Canada and this is Winter. Snow and Wind. Need I say more ?
I live at the edge of Chicago so not a lot warmer here, but can bundle up and be fine for a few batteries, some people also fly from a parked car, that said as always would advocate for configuring a Sim and using that more to learn and understand how the thing will respond to various stick input.

You need to fit different colour props to the front , when you build your own you put a light on the front

I knew that. I posted a thread asking about that.
Your fellow Moderator asked me for my drone's model #. Said he may be able to help me find the right propellers with different colours.
I posted the model number, but he never post back.

Yes I know what you mean lol I used to hover a 450 class helicopter in a tiny living room i got real good at a hover

George gets busy just message him he will not mine , you can use spray paint on the props just make sure you spray it even over the complete prop

I put red tape all over the front of my practice syma x25 so I know where the front is good for LOS flying I don't bother using the fpv on the phone for it but just for practice using the controls so when I launch the phantom I hopefully don't crash

Suddenly I have not received "reply" notifications on my email inbox, starting on Post #30 to 35.
Will the Mod know why ?
I just found out today March 12th.

One of my toy drones have a set of landing gears attached front and back.
So, I spray painted the front landing gear white. (I ran out of red).
It has to be more visible than a pair of spinning front props.
