Hope it's not too boring, just an average guy taking a video of unboxing / putting together the carbon fiber frame from Phoenix RC for the Blade 200QX. Links to YouTube:

Part 1 -

Part 2 -

Enjoy, comment, ignore, whatever. :)

Seems nice. The standoff/landing gear arrangement freaks me out though. Looks like a frame cracker waiting to happen.

actually, the original plastic/whatever material screws holding the standoff's failed when i crashed hard with no frame damage. NOW there are metal screws and metal standoffs on it - maybe then :)

Thanks for the tip on the frame cracker, I have aluminum standoffs with screws, I will change them out for plastic, that should help prevent damage to the frame in a crash.

Same here the plasic screws have a habit of stripping their threads on crashes. Someone told me not to use conductive screws on carbon frames but other than conductivity issues as long as everything is sealed i cant see a problem.

two of my legs broke off in a crash, broke the screws, I am replacing with a shorter standoff and maybe add a short piece of tubing for damping

Hi I use plastic stand offs as they snap and then no damage to frame , they are so cheap I have bags of them for hobby king
