Folks,

What are people's view on the Xiro Xplorer V? Some nearly new ones have appeared on eBay. Rather tempted to get one, as they have a great camera.

Worthy (personal) successor to an MJX Bugs 2W?
 
I want to say Gadget Inspector (who is on here) got one as a test unit and flew it. You might want to send him a message and ask him about it. Again, I'm working from memory, but it seems to me he liked it a lot.

I would rather go for this one for the peace of mind, straight from DJI.

I hear you. Not being a reviewer, I get it. But he seems like a decent guy from the short convos I've had with him elsewhere. And he has both of the quads the OP might be comparing.

Oh... Xiro Xplorer 2 looks amazing, though really expensive.
 
If you're going that direction, you can buy a refurbished DJI Phantom 4 (standard) from DJI for $799. Don't get me wrong, I want to see some real competitors for DJI, but $1499 gets you a new Phantom 4 Pro. The P4's have a lot of clear advantages of the Xiro.
