Direction Needed

What’s the best software for me to use on my Eachine Racer 250 with CC3D flight controller. I set it up with LibrePilot and it flew quite well, until I changed to different props and slightly different battery location. Now it flies OK but is “twitchy”, especially noticeable in gusty wind conditions while trying to hover. Anyway, it’s time to start doing some rolls and flips so I’m looking for advice as to how to proceed. I searched on the internet and, to me, there is a lot of confusing info. out there. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction so I won’t waist a lot of time, effort, and broken equipment figuring out a hard to use GCS. Thanks.

Have you been resetting gyros & calibrating esc's before everytime you go out. Honestly I would suggest buying an F3 board. Ideally something with the
MPU 6000 chip. But I can recommend a Seriously pro F3 if money is tight.
I been running 3 kwads for 10 months. Same SPF3 & same esc's. But go through the settings. Basically an overhaul. Check minimums & maximums. I use blheli configurator tool not blheli suite & sometimes the minimum throttle can change from what I set it to 1020 down to 1012. It could just be wind making it twitch but try adjusting the pids a bit because of the prop change.
Lower D on roll on pitch by 0.5 till it goes. If not put it back & raise or lower P.
I was given good advice & it was to sort the rates out first. That's a basic mechanical thing. The pids is fine tuning that mechanism. My crappy tuned quad will still flip & roll just as quick as a pro tuned quad, purely because it has the same rates. It's just the tuned quad will do it more gracefully. That's my take on it anyway. So not 2 words but 4 letters,
F3 F4

Whoa, I don’t know what most of these terms mean. I have run through the basic setup using LibrePilot several times. I could not get blheli to work. I looked online and found videos on tuning but they mention, or use, OpenPilot, Taulabs, Cleanflight, Baseflight. Some even mention “Autotune”. I am wondering which one is easiest or best to use. Thanks for your help.

And what prop did change from and to.

So why the change to poorer performing props?

I changed because the original props broke. The originals were 2 Blade 5040. Changed to 3 Blade 5040 because, at the time, it seemed a good idea. Now I have my doubts.

You just need to find out what pitch you need for your style of flying. Acro or racing. Top end props low end speed or mid. Racers are more top end obviously.
