Eachine i6 transmitter compatible with FS-iA6 rx ?

Hello,

specs:
Eachine racer 250 pro RTF version w/eachine i6 tx and eachine i6 rx

I am just starting out in this hobby and had my first significant crash. I believe I damaged the rx so I attempted to order an eachine replacement only to find its impossible to order one. As I understand the eachine i6 transmitter is just a rebrand of the fly sky version, is that correct? So I ended up ordering an FS-iA6 receiver to replace the eachine i6 receiver because the info I could find claimed that the two are identical. however I have had no success in binding the eachine i6 tx to the FS-iA6 rx. Does anyone know if they are actually compatible? Visually everything looks exactly the same. I have created a new model in the tx to bind and that hasn't helped. I can get the rx to change from rapid blinking light to slow blinking light during binding so it does seem to bind, but when I hook everything up to actually use it it does not stay solid light and no response. So compatible or no? Thank you !!

Did you install the binding plug into the RX during the process? Did you run power (~ 5V) to the RX?

There is a few that work
Ia6
Ia6b
Ia6c
A8S for small builds good range (recommended)
Aswell as a few more if you dig.
Flysky, turnigy. Eachine use same components.
The i6 holds 20 models but you can have 19 ia6b rx bound & an infinite number of A8S receiver's. As it's only one way.

Did he leave the bind plug in.
Have no power to either tx/rx
Put bind plug on.
Power to rx.
Press hold bind on Tx then power on Tx.
If successful bind OK.
What is powering your fcb a bec off an esc or direct from the 5v on the pdb.

Thank you all for the replies I appreciate the help! First of all I now have successfully bound the Eachine i6 tx to the FS-iA6 rx. For some reason the only way I could get it to bind was by having it disconnected from the quad completely, powering the rx by itself and only and here is the key, pull the bind pin WITHOUT turning off the tx or removing power from the rx. If I would turn either one off and then pull the bind plug then it would not be bound when I turned either back on. Also my quad has a switch built into the PCB just for binding purposes, and that method also did not work with the FS-iA6 rx. Anyway, it is now bound, is there a reason it would only bind by doing it this way? Thanks again
