First Quad Build- Reciever/Naze32 problems

Hey all,

I'll be honest, I've been working on this project off and on for awhile now and I've had this one particular problem stump me for quite awhile. I've lurked on boards like this trying to find the answer on my own but after many renditions to my quad I haven't had any luck.

My current issue is it doesn't seem that my receiver powers on when I power my quad on(no indicator light), but I get the correct sequences of flashes and blinks when binding to the transmitter. This makes me think there's some configuration item I'm missing. I am using Cleanflight and everything seems to spin up correctly when adjusted via the app. My receiver mode is set to PWM.

Currently my setup is includes
a Naze32 rev6
a Sprektrum AR400 reciever
and a Spektrum DX4e transmitter.

I also have a number of other receivers and transmitters I've tried this setup with- the same issue seems to occur. I also have tested it with other Naze32 boards. (I am part of a club that has spare parts I can use).

Any ideas or help is much appreciated- thanks!

Did you verify your using the PWM I/O and your vcc/gnd to receiver? Also when I setup my f3 for ppm I had to go into ports and enable the serial RX. Also in configuration I had to choose iBus for the receiver I was using. YouTube a configuration setup of your specific RX and FC I'm sure there are a few. Follow their steps closely. If still doesn't work you have a hardware or power issue rather than config.

Huh.. huh.. HUH? For PWM 'serial RX' is incorrect. And what does IBus have to do with the OP's problem?

@ BigJJ

Try this setting.

It had nothing to do it was for my application if you read it.

I used PPM my application is different. He needs to find a setup for his hardware.. it diagnose hardware.

Sorry I'm still a little new so my acronyms may be wrong and my information may be irrelevant. Hope the OP gets it figured out. Seems that it's binding so must be config, maybe channel map or a TX setting.

What I don't understand is if you're part of a "club", why don't you ask someone for advice. Setting up a Naze32 in CF is (or should be) very simple.

Thanks for your replies,

My Cleanflight menu looks slightly different than yours but I got the same settings in I believe. Screen shots below-

Here's also a picture of my receiver hooked up. The quad is currently powered, along with my Tx.

I can't tell when I'm typing this, but I'm hoping my images are working. o_O

@RENOV8R
I'm currently in college during the summer semester. No one is here, but I still have access to the supplies. I was using a KK2 before I met with them and they recommended the Naze32. (KK2 ended up being faulty) They also didn't have a whole lot of luck with this problem.

@94Z28
I couldn't find any videos or guides that were specific to my Rx. but close. Still have the same issue after trying them. Many of the differences were in the configuration of Cleanflight concerning the receiver.

Thanks for all your help.

Looks like the images didn't post. I'll upload them as files
