Is there a better quad for me than this?

So I want a relatively cheap quad kit that I have to build. I don't want a RTF because I want to be able to make modifications to it when parts break. I came upon this and it almost seems too good to be true.

It's sold by miniquadbros and currently out of stock but it really looks nice. I understand that it doesn't come with a transmitter and the one they offer is hecka nice(but expensive) so i'll probably go with a cheaper one. But is it quality?

Yes, that is a decent package for the price. The DYS motors & ESCs aren't "top of the line" but they'll perform more than adequately. Just keep in mind that to make this FPV with camera & VTX, battery(s), spare props and arms, tools, Velcro, zipties.............you can add another $20-$300. The X9D is an awesome transmitter, open source and constantly updated. But you're paying for a lot of bells & whistles that you don't need when you're just starting out. I've got both the Radiolink AT9 & AT9S, both excellent radios for the price and pretty user friendly.
