Calibration Issues

Hey All,

So i am totally new to quadcopters and bought the GoolRC T5 from Amazon. Seemed like a decent one to get my feet wet and see if I like this whole thing or not. The problem - for the life of me I cannot get it calibrated! The more I try, the worse it gets. Now when i power it up it wants to go so far to the right its almost flipping the copter over. Is there a way to reset? How do I get this thing working? I tried to calibrate in the other direction with the controls but they don't seem to do anything. Is it a matter of it just being crappy system?

Thanks in advance for any help here.

have tried that too and sent back the first one because I thought it was defective. Second doing the same.

OK, so you're 0 for 2 with this particular quad. Sorry to hear it but sounds it's like time to consider another quad to -- as you say -- get your feet wet

Here are two suggestions in roughly the same price range:

- Syma X5c-1
- JJRC H31

If it says RTF then unless you got the know-how to go about the technical stuff then if it ain't working just send it back.
I went through 2 jjrc h8c & only got abt 2 hours flying out both of em. Then I just thought, sod it. And built a cheap diatone diy 250 with flysky Tx. It takes a beating and probably cost about £50 more than the 2 jjrc. Let's face it your gonna get into it. Because it's your own you try that little bit harder. Sorry to be straight to the point first post. But just my learning curve. Maybe get a cheap hubsan or jjrc 1000a to get used to the controls. Once you feel the power of a 3-4S 250 quadcopter it's like, pfff
It's nothing like flying a toy. What do you want it for? Racing or aerial photography. Whatever stick @it. I've had no breaks but for props & not many of them now using king Kong 50/40. In fact none, just bent ones.. And a wire came off the pdb. It ain't easy but I'm enjoying it & will stick @it. Got myself a cheap go Pro & the weather was OK for a change.
