iMAX B6 Mini charger question

I got my charger yesterday. I did not order a power supply since I have so many just lying around, I was sure to have one that fit.
The device says input is 11V - 18V but does not give Amps.
Does it matter? I have a 12V 2.0A power supply that I have, is this useable?

P.S. - The box included a clear USB key with what looks like 3 LEDs in it. The manual does not state what it is and neither does the box. Can someone tell me what this is for?

And one more question to ask:
I found this for the settings to use for my batteries. Is this correct:

"set charger to charge 1S 3.7V LiPo batteries and set the current to 0.75 Amps PER battery you are charging.... So if you are charging all 5 batteries at the same time you would set the Amps to 4.5 Amps."

Setting your current depends on the mah (amps divided by 1000) For example, if you had a 4 cell 5400 mah battery, you would set your charger to 4S 14.8V @ 5.4 amps. There are also recommended charge rates for batteries. If the max recommended charge rate is 1C, you should only charge at 5.4 amps. But if it had a max charge rate of 2C, you could charge at 10.8 amps. That being said, I never charge at more than 1C.

As for charge of your 5 batteries, it depends on if your wiring harness is charging your batteries in series or parallel. In series, you would charge @ 3.75 V (.75X5), in parallel you would charge at .75 V

You can't, you'll only have about ~1.8A available to charge with due to your 2A PS. Don't you have any old ATX computer power supplies laying around? How about an old Laptop PS?

The only old power supply's I have are too big for the charger (plug won't fit).
I will scour Goodwill and other places.

When you do eventually get the adapter that fits. If doing all 5 @once. 0.3A per battery. So 1.5A is ample for 5 small battery. Should take about 10-15 minutes. I'd say any more would be pressing the battery & won't last very long. It takes a few charges to get the battery upto full charge memory. I only charge my 3s @ 0.4Amps takes a bit but they last longer & they keep there balance easier. If doing as other people say or fast charges, do yourself a favour & get a lipo bag or an old ammo box to charge in. Been using lipo' for a while on RC cars, drones are a new hobby for me. Fires mainly happen when you force the battery. Small amps = no fires. Good luck.
