Zmr250 Quad

I would suggest a better ESC and motor combo and perhaps some DAL props as they will last better during crahses and cheap motors and ESCs are what most people doing super low budget builds have to repalce. As you can see they are not parts you want to pay for twice.

The transmitter won't work. It's not programmable and quads require AT LEAST a 5-channel TX. This one's only 4-channel

4 channels will work, but there will be no way to readily change flight modes unless you hook it up to the FC software again.

Thanks for the advice unfortunately I bought the esc and motor already. Would u say there would be aproblem with them?

The odd time with generic products like these, they arrive with DOA. I've never had a problem with motors, but I've had the odd ESC that didn't work. As long as they all work, they perform just fine

Also flashing them to something like Blheli really is a great way to improve the performance and flight controller's ability to stabilize the craft.

Get a 6 channel radio with at least one 3 way switch so can flip though the 3 major flight modes that are available with the CC3d.
Thanks I will get that RC as well. But one question can u replace old transmitters and radios with new ones on the quadcopter or do they have to be fixed, in meaning that only one transmitter can be fixed to the quad when config with cc3d

Oh I've heard about Bheli but i thought simonK was the one for quadcopters:D
SimonK and blheli are both good for quadcopters :p I used to be a simonK fan until getting some ESCs pre-flashed to Blheli, then I flashed some cheaper ESCs on a quad with some problems stabilizing to Blheli. It fixed my problems and has much smoother response to throttle input than the simonK it was running, so now I'm a Blheli fan hahahaha

I use this combo.

I'm quite pleased with it's features and it has held up well. It is a smaller form factor though. You can add RXs and bind them to separate Models (up to 20) each with their own specific programming.

I recently discovered the Fly Mode switch (default was SWA, top left) which when engaged will allow Expo/Dual rate adjustments on ch1, 2, and 4. Toggling the the switch basically can turn the 3 flight modes into 6. The top right switch is set as Throttle Hold. I have that set to ZERO so it is now basically an instant OFF switch. Had too many close calls walking to fetch/pick up my model while holding the radio with my left hand. First thing I do now is toggle that when the model is down.

If you do get that RX (there is also a PPM/IBus one available) note the antennas must be reinforced with a blob of glue.

BTW when Chad (the Aussie) from RotorRiot tried an i6 he said he liked the feel of the gimbals more than his Taranis. :)

Hehehe Deciding on using SimonK first then I'll consider flashing to Bheli.
Anxious to see reults. Will give updates and pics on the making of the quadcopter

Yeah I'm thinking of getting that awesome combo that you have later into my build of the quadcopter.
I'll stick to the re3civer and transmitter I have now. Will get that combo in a month. Pics comming soon..

Could you tell me how to change flight modes when hooking the transimtter to the FC. I would like to fly in 3d doing the rolls and flips. Or is it not possible
