I'm sorry..........I so overwhelmed. LOL I assumed I would have some sort of instructions to follow to set this thing up but I'm lost. Right now I'm just trying to figure out where to hook up what on the receiver. I got a FS I6 controller. I'm hooking up the receiver and I don't know where to put what. Where does throttle go and such? Can anyone help me?

I know... Lots of youtube videos helped. Basically you need to bind the reciever, wire it up, down load openpilot or librepilot ( also youtube videos) and configure your controller with the wizard and also your radio with the wizard. Welcome to hobby grade, where its much more the just flying around for five minutes and charging little batteries.

There are YouTube vids for binding the I6 too. Dont worry, you'll figure it out. It will that much sweeter when you get up in the air for 20 seconds and break your first prop! Ha ha! :) I'll help where I can and so will others, but honestly the most help is for you to figure out everything you can for yourself... with guidance if you get stuck.

I ask questions all the time but try to find the answer myself first.

I get it. I think I'm just overwhelmed. I'm having a few beers and watching Vikings and I'll come back to it later.

Hey, I just remembered the ARF comes with an all black wire harness the plugs perfect with the I6. The little adapter plug connects to the reciever then plug the 7 black wire harness into it and that goes to the controller. Then the 2'wire goes into it and connects to the plug next to the light switch. Try it out. I think thats how it was on the quad I lost. Tomorrow morning Ill be out in the shop painting and wiring up my 2nd racer 250. I have a different receiver RD9 but I also have a FlySky I6. Ill see if I can figure it out. Maybe I can help.

I don't know specifically what they supplied, but below is the typical CC3D procedure.

Do you have a cable like this?

The colors can vary, so go by the positions from the white connector.

This is the exact match up. The GCS software will actually adapt during the Transmitter Wizard if you mess up, but it's easy to get it right. Also go into the radio's AUX menu and see what switches are assigned, mine had the 2 pots.

SwC is the 3 position switch, make sure to assign that to 5 (it can also be on 6 if you prefer). Note press CANCEL to save. That will be your flight mode switch.

So in this photo there is a plug adapter, a 7 pin all black wires and a 2 pin black wires . These connect perfect to the I6 and come in the ARF kit. Thats how the RTF kit is wired. Plug the adapter into the reciever and plug the 7 pin and 2 pin harnesses into the adpter and ofher end into the controller.

thank you guys so much but you're speaking tongues to me. LOL I've hooked up the receiver like Jackson suggested. Thanks once again Jackson. Not to downgrade you Altsickeness. Jackson has just been a help through and through these past couple weeks. So I've hooked up the receiver like Jackson showed. The only problem is that that channel 5 wire that shows black is actually a second yellow wire on my adapter. It's actually the black wire and the red channel 6 wire is the black wire. I hooked them up in the order that the picture shows so the second yellow wire is channel 5 and the black wire is channel 6. Do I know plug in the battery and turn it on?

I can't get the transmitter to talk to the receiver. I plugged it in and just turned on the transmitter and nothing. I ran It through the openpilot wizard and it shows the stick movements right on the transmitter in the software but when I turn on the quad and the transmitter nothing happens. the software mimics all my movements perfectly but I just can't get any life out of the drone.

I've got it working now. Jeezzzz... lol that was ridiculous but it was all user error. Thanks so much guys for helping. I just got it out in the garage for about 3 minutes and hovered it. Thing was LOUD! lol so I decided to wait until tomorrow where I could get in some open area and let it drift a bit. I could control the hover in the garage but I just feel like one baby slip and it's going to smash into something. LOL garage is a mess. Now i'm charging the runcam for some morning action. LOL Thanks again. I'm sure you guys will see tons of me.
