Noob Looking For Help With First Setup

Hello Everyone, I'm Street. I'm looking to get into the hobby of FPV flying with Mini Quads but I don't really know what my best options are going to be. I've been flying toy drones for about 3 weeks now and love it. I'm ready to move up. I obviously want to start off with good equipment at a low price and when I order I want that i have everything I need to fly. That made me hover toward RTF kits but I don't know if i can save some money instead by putting together my own kit. I'm scared i'll buy what I think i'll need and then realize that I don't have a battery for something like the goggles or forget a video transmitter or receiver you know? and what about chargers. Do I need one for the goggles battery and the drone or is there a charger that will do both. I just don't know.

I was thinking something like this to get me started

Does anyone know what video antenna I need to match the eachine racer 250's for my goggles receiver.

am I missing anything?

So where could I save money and or upgrade?

Honestly, just watch youtube for days. It's what I did and my first build went flawlessly. From what I've seen around here lately, stay away from that eachine 250, it's nothing but problems

Probably the best reviewed thing on BG.

Yeah as far as I can tell it's a pretty decent product. Hey Jackson what would be a decent charger that I can get in addition?

I'd opt for the more tradition (ZMR250 type framed) Falcon. I would remove the tilted motor mounts at first though.

As far as range some better atennas should help. Bruce at RCModel Reveiws said these performed well in his tests.

Can you recommend something for a similar price?

That's about the range for a 250, as you're just getting started 30-35C might be a little more controllable. One thing to watch for is you'll notice this Zippy pack has a length of 100 mm, but you can also get batteries in the 1500 mah range that are only 70 mm long. I like these because it gives me more room to get the battery in the right position for balancing the quad.

you're right. Thank you. I appreciate the help. Can you recommend something? Also what should I get for the Quanum V2 Googles and receiver. Not sure how much power i'm going to need for that.
