newbs first build help please

I just recieved my kit today!! And I have a few questions.. does anyone have kik messenhwr with experience so I can send pictures and ask questions

Also, if I wanted to make a power harness, what type of wire do I need to use? Because the power distribution board is kinda big.. and im worried ill short it out by placing it in a bad spot.

That you everyone for replying to me. My cc3d has wat looks to.be a factory plastic casing. Would I unscrew this and just put the board on the quad? If so, how and where do I mount it?

Do I need nylon stand offs for the cc3d board? and.I think..I found where I can mount it On the frame. Where I only have four free holes left after I put the frame together. They look like they will match up the the screw holes the cc3d case is using to bind the board

Many ways to do it. You can leave it in the case and stick it to the frame with Velcro. Or you can remove it from the case. Look at the centre of the bottom chassis plate, there's 4 holes that line up with the CC3D. Bolt on 4 3mm nylon standoffs and sit the board on top of them. I'll get some pics to show you what I'm talking about.

Well pictures aside, I understand. The four hoels do line. I may kist velcro it, but eventually ince I figure it all out I want to seal the chip to water proof it. Any advice on what I should use?

If you could tell me a good place to mount a good power distribution.board at so I dont have to make a power harness thou. Because I cant think if how it will go on there without the board touching something and shorting out
