is 189$ a good price for ARF eachine 250?

i notice banggood usually has it for 129$, but i wonder if it would be better to get it from amazon for 189$ because i do have prime and i feel its safer because if there are any issues i can return it seamlessly, rather than having to deal with who knows what from banggood.

also i found this remote on amazon for 55$ that i see people use with eachine 250, is this good?

so if i get these 2 things, then use rc832 reciever + 3s battery + and then connect that reciever to these video glasses from ebay, then setup the eachine 250 with openpilot using the wizard, would i be good to go?

(they have an av port that i assume i can connect to the rc832 reciever)
 
or maybe i can play the field and get the eachine arf for 130 + 55 amazon transmiter =185$ (cheaper than amazon ARF alone!) :D

ahh did you get it from amazon? i saw that on amazon and almost got it before i knew anythign about the falcon or eachine racer. normally i would have paid more money to get amazon service, but i did order a u807 from banggood and it went pretty smoothly, though if i ever had a problem with something from banggood i wouldn't have much hope for a return lol, where as the x5c-1 i got from amazon was defective and they refunded me in like 2 days!

how are you enjoying your arris? do you have goggles for it or do you fly it Line of sight? did you tune it in open pilot or anything yet? tbh i hear that with most of these 250 clones you can pretty much flash a tune with open pilor or libre pilot and make it fly like any drone you want. from what i saw these 250 racer fly very nicely with the qav250 tune!
 
I actually got it on ebay as a build it kit. Boy was that fun! Yes I had problems and yes I had to wait a ton of time for replacement parts.

Forsure amazon is nice, i've ordered a lot of stuff from them since for this money pit! :)

As far the Arris, I love it! I did buy some dominators v3 goggles. I am WAY better LOS then I am FPV but still practicing. I have not done much as far as tuning. The CC3D is still running open pilot, the quad does have some minor oscillation and being a heavier frame, it doesn't lift as fast FOT as some vids i've seen of qav/zrm 250s. It has some offbrand 2204/2300; I purchased some emax red 2205s I thought about throwing on it but I think I may just buy another 250/280 frame and build a 2nd bird.
 
yeah, ill have to play around. I was going through blades so fast then bought some dals. These take a beating so I have a feeling ill be doing a lot less "forced" experimenting if you will.
 
+1 I just got a few sets of 5 and 6 inch Dal props and they are really tough. I've done 10 flights and still on the first set. As a bonus, they're pretty close to balanced right out of the package
 
which props you guys recommend for my falcon for the best flight time and durability? not too worried about speed because i figure when i upgrade from a 3s battery to a 4s battery, that will make a bigger difference than any set of props. i think they said on the stock 3s battery the falcon can go like 90 mph, so im sure its a lot more on the 4s battery especially from the videos i have seen.

So I had been fighting random motor cut out, I replaced the bad motor and another one started doing it. Long story short I replaced the ebay rds marked motors and generic ecs with afro 20a and emax racing red 2205's. Holy crap what a difference, I can now say I'm actually scared of this thing! It's thrust is amazing, oscillation is gone. This thing is STUPID fast! Probably way more quad then a noob should be flying.
 
I'm very excited for my falcon and i should have it in a couple weeks :D Even though I am pretty lucky in many ways, I have had a very sad life, and this falcon is literally the only thing I am looking forward to in the future - really hoping it goes good - don't think I can take anymore disappointment :(
