YKS 250 Quad After Setting It Down In The Mud??

Total Newb here. I recently got into flying toy quads and absolutely loved it! Long Story short I bought a YKS 250 racer to up my game and learn to fly something with a bit more punch.

Yesterday was the first day out with it and I had a great 10 minutes of flying before I started to lose the orientation of the quad. I ended up setting it down in a grassy field without realizing that there was standing water and mud in that area (there wasn't any where I was standing). Anyhow the motors on one side of the quad only ended up with mud all over them and in them. I brought it home took the motors apart and cleaned them up well. After I put it back together the motors on that side of the quad still don't feel quite as free as the other side. I took it back apart multiple times to make sure I had the mud and dirt cleaned out.

I tried to fly it this morning but now it pulls to the right no matter what I do. I adjusted the trim and it still pulls to the right no matter how much I adjust it. Also when I blip the throttle the rear left motor many times won't spin. and some times both motors on the left don't spin when the motors on the right do. As I said earlier I'm a new to this what should my next step be? Wish I had gotten more than 10 minutes out of it before breaking it lol. I could really use the help thanks all!

Here are the components on it.

Remote Controller: Type: FS-I6; Channel: 6; Frequency: 2.4GHz - 2.475GHz; Remote Controller Distance: 700m
Flight Controller: CC3D
Brushless Motor: MARSPOWER MX1806 KV2280(CW/CCW)
Brushless ESC: MR.RC 12A

So you removed to little retainer clip from the bottom of the motor and pulled off the bell?

Yes, I pulled the motor off, then removed the c clip/spacers, and pulled the bell housing off. I then cleaned out the bell housing and wiped everything down with alcohol then blew everything dry with a hair dryer. The motors don't seem bad now and but they don't have the same snap between each magnet segment that the other two motors have.

During a quick test this morning it flies ok at first and then starts pulling to the right pretty bad and the trim settings don't seem to help.

Could it be an ESC issue

Well I took it all back apart and oiled the bearings and the back left motor pretty much locked up as soon as I oiled it. I took it back apart and I believe the bottom bearing is hosed. It was all I could do to get the bell housing back off and the top bearing ended up coming out in the process. The top bearing spins great but if you put the motor shaft in from the bottom side the bottom bearing barely spins and is super tight.

On to the next question I can't seem to find the motors I have anywhere! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set and if I can't should I just swap out all 4 motors. What new motors would you reccomend? I can't believe I only got 10 minutes of this thing. I have flown my toy ones in worse conditions and wrecked them harder than I have ever wrecked this thing without even tearing anything up.

Not WD40 I hope.

This seems to be a good value with good reviews.

More options.

Thin and synthetic seems best and a couple of drops every 2 hours of flight time is a good idea.

Note ePacket delivery is rather speedy to the USA.

Not WD40. I had some other high speed oil at the house.

I saw the same motors at the place you mentioned but the shipping is 21-45 days from China.

I figured I might as well put something I can easily get back in it.

Should a DSY 1806 2300 be a direct replacement? Would I need to change the ESC's? I can't believe I managed to ruin this thing in 10 minutes by setting it down in the wrong place......frustrating to say the least.

How do you figure? Are you in the US? Over the years with ePacket I've averaged 13 days. The vendor claims.

That's weird...... I put it in my cart twice and both times it averaged 21-45 days on the shipping and I am in the US. Good to know that it was only taking around 13 that would be a lot more acceptable lol. I may order from them but I am also considering the DYS 1806 2300 as it seems to be more readily available and easier to find.
