You accidentally cancelled RTH, but signal wasn't strong enough to regain control so it sat there, waiting.

Eventually you reactivated RTH (you kept pressing buttons)

I assume he got it back. We could do without the vulgarity in his commentary as there are members who are women and children. Another reason I won't subscribe unless he cleans up his commentary and descriptions.

Yeah, very annoying video to say the least.
I just went to the last 20 seconds or so and saw he got it back.

Screaming kid, I lasted for 30 seconds.
same. The video looked beautiful, but i really really really really really really really really really really don't like human kids.

On the plus side it reaffirmed my belief of

#mgtow!

im pretty new to drones, but i kinda like isn't it a kind of a bad idea to do a range test, out into the ocean??

but this video did make me more eager to get my phantom!! i love how crisp and SMOOTH and stable the recording is too <3

Sort of risky to do that kind of test with a high priced quad over water with no emergency recovery backup (a fast boat with a scuba diver on board). Also, would he not want to be sure he is well practiced with all of the controls and know that all functions work before doing a kamikaze-styled testing like this gentleman did. 9,000+ ft out and it could have done a Mercury 7 splashdown with resulting sinking into very deep water. I think the Phantom 3 is akin to a rock in water. Just something I think a prudent quader would not do. The screaming kid was looking for attention. I would have given him or her something to scream about. Next time do the videos from the comfort of the basement with the door locked.

I never hate, I just have high standards and straight business principles. There's a place for everything and everything in its place. We're a quad forum that should practice decorum as well. We're about quads and openly help anyone who asks for help. There's a way to do that. It just takes practice doing that. No offense to you sir. Enjoy your quad. Glad you got it back so you can continue to enjoy it and learn more about it. Good luck in the future and I hope you stick around the forum.

Oxymoron.

And more than a little unnecessary/distasteful too.

Cool take care & fly safe.

made it to 1:14 this time...are the kids screaming in all your videos??? lol

jk i watched the whole thing, but i would think even if u lose the wifi connection shouldnt it fly back?
I got a 3 year old what can I say gotta watch him can't leave him alone for a minute just to make a video about flying my toy. Thanks for watching bro.

I enjoyed the videos myself...I think you did the right thing by not trying to fly back not knowing where you were...You couldnt tell if you would lose altitude or get blown off course and surely lose the quad.

Im not a huge fan of wifi as its not all that reliable as you found out in a scary way...Even the wifi on toy quads suck big time...In any case im glad your investment made it home safe....You make me want to make my first hobby grade quad a DJI Phantom...hahaha.

Dear WLDOR, I could give him or her an exciting video game, not what you imagined, I imagine. Unnecessary & distasteful is an unjust assumption, since I never indicated what the 'something' was I might give him or her. You assumed something else and that was unnecessary.
