just setting up my first build and can find very little on using 3 opto's and a linear bec esc on the build. I am trying to get away with NOT adding an external UBEC and just use a single ESC with my linear BEC ESC? Is this possible and do I have to cut any wires. I am using a Naze32 with 20 a esc on a 500 reptil with sunny sky 2212-980 motors. Many thanks for helping out a confused newbie.

You use 3 optos and one normal ESC?
I guess Ringo Long does. I am just in the process of building and looking to save weight where I can. This would get rid of an external BEC but allow me to use at least 3 OPTO esc and 1 linear BEC esc.

My mistake. I missed that these were optos. Sorry for the confusion.
Mine are all powered from the pdb, and I am only using the signal wire from the ones that are not delivering the power to the flight controller.
