Hi,

I am looking for a basic and QUIET quadcopter for in-home use only. It's meant to be a toy to play with our pets...

I don't need size or speed. My wife wants something reasonably quiet.

Any suggestions???

Thanks!

I've got a Bayangtoys XI that is pretty quite. The Syma X11 isn't to bad but I think it's a little louder than the X9

I agree with Jackson. Quads, even as toys, can still cause injuries to your pets, in particular their eyes, if hit by the high-speed rotor blades. Get them a ball or something. A dog uses its mouth in most cases to play. Imagine catching that high-speed rotor blade on your tongue. Real OUCH!

The quietest is the one you buy - put on the table and study it for a few weeks. While doing so ponder this - you obviously have no idea about flying a quadcopter of any size.
If you want a pets toy... a smallish plastic object with 4 propellers spinning very fast - is not really being smart.
Even if you taught yourself to fly quads.. they don't always respond as they should for a million reasons - and if one flipped into your pet.... assuming you do not keep Alligators or Rhino's - it could end up in a pool of blood and one or more eyes less than when it woke up.... and ever 'gator's and Rhino's could lose an eye.

This is a very friendly forum always willing to help newcomers... but its my guess that if you proceed with what is basically a really immature idea.... you would not get much if any help.
Leave quadcopters out of your pets life- and if you must have radio control... buy a model tank or truck and let then chase it round and chew it up.
