Naza to Spektrum help

So I've got the Naza m lite and I want to use my Spektrum DX6i (dsxm). It came standard with an ar610 reciever, and I'm wondering if that will work with the Naza (I'm planning on adding the gps module in the near future). Also I've seen several setup videos, but I can't quite find the right one for my setup, any ideas or advice.

(P.S. First build)
Thanks,
Austin

I can't say for sure, but I believe that both devices support PWM, and if that is the case then yes. The DSMX is the protocol used for the radio transmission and interpretation, so is between the reliever and transmitter and has no affect over any other things.

No? I think with only 6 channels you won't get full functionality outta the NAZA.

It's works great with dx6i. I had that set up recently.
Just plug the throttle to throttle etc in from the receiver to the naza.
The exp is for the the GPS to pkug into if remember rightly.
If you get stuck I managed to get 2 switches to act as a 3 position switch so that you can swap between all 3 flight modes.
Then I did once get another function to work too.

Depends what you want to do with it really. To get more functions you would need new receiver and transmitter. 8 channel rather than 6.
