I'd suggest you get 2204-2300kv motors like the multistar elite, and some 15-20 amp ESCs, also your battery sounds rather large.

I should have taken the prop mounts off to show you the difference in the shafts, but the multistar 2300kv (green) motor's shaft is 5mm, while the DYS 2300kv motor (red) has a 2mm shaft.

For those motors the ESCs are fine, though I might suggest bigger ESCs if you are getting micro ESCs with no heat sink.

Also are mini esc's acceptable or substandard to normal esc?
Would this count as a mini? At 10 grams it certainly will save some weight.

It certainly has amazing AMP headroom. Watch the test video. Especially the last part where when mounted under the prop it had no problems with a sustained 20+ amps on 4s.

Naze 32 rev6
You may want to read a bit the V6 vs. v5 note his caution at the bottom.

Update (15/09/2015) – This board is currently not supported by Cleanflight v1.9, it doesn’t flash the Naze32 rev5 firmware. Maybe next release will, we will keep an eye on it!

Update (14/10/2015) – Cleanflight team is currently working to support this board.

Maybe it's been sorted by now.
What size battery would you suggest?
You should have at least 2 batteries, that way if one goes wonky you can still fly. And why not a smaller=lighter one for some sportier, faster flying (shorter run times though). Then a larger one for some long run time leisurely cruising. The smaller one BTW needs to have a higher C rate than the large one. Let's say 1800mAh and 3300mAh (or a tad bigger.) Do check the weights on whatever you get as they can vary even at the same size.
