Watch this movie (drone movie!) - Rotor DR1

Have you seen this already? I stumbled across it on a movie site, I actually really liked it! It's called "Rotor DR1" (2015).

Description:
"In a post-apocalyptic world where half the population is dead or missing and the sky is full of autonomous drones, a 16-year-old boy named Kitch sets out to find his father, joined by DR1, his drone companion."

Really worth watching, (especially if you like drones/quads etc).

Here's a link to where I watched it, (very good HD/DVD quality):
http://www.afdah.ws/1219-rotor-dr1.html

EDIT: (If you use that site to watch it, scroll to the bottom of the page where you see the video player with a play button in the centre, that's where you press play, the other buttons that say "download" or "watch now" etc are adverts that open pop-ups.)

Yeah, WARNING NO ONE CLICK THE LINK!! THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO SUCKER YOU INTO MALWARE with a virius damaged battery warning.

If you have Amazon Prime its available there with free streaming. The IMDb site has a trailer for it, watched it on their app. Looks interesting.

Don't be daft, so you think I'm here especially to spread malware and viruses to quad users to eh? Really?
That site (afdah.ws) is a very well known movie site, google it for reviews, I use it all the time.
Or watch it somewhere else.
It's a good film worth watching, that's all I wanted to say.

I watched it the tech credits, and costuming are rather impressive. But the star, the director's (Chad from Flite Test) kid has the charisma/presence of a turnip. Was nice to see David Windestal though, and I imagine it was he that built DR1, the tricopter. Took me 2 days to finish, fell asleep on the first run through.

Flite test eh, I was thinking it must've been made by some drone enthusiast or something. You're right about the main character, it would've been better if it had a better actor as the main star.
I love DR1! Makes me want to forget my quad plans and build something with more character like that!
Don't you think DR1 looks a bit like he was styled similar to BB8 from the new Star Wars? Same white and orange colour scheme and the same sort of worn/dirty look. Even the way his camera/eye moves, very Star Wars droney.

I am just telling what happend. I clicked on your link and did not go to a video.
Sorry about that, can't understand why. Just tried it again and it still works for me.
You did what I said right? Click on the link then scroll to the bottom of the page where you can see the video player and press the red play button in the centre of the video player?
You could always just google "Watch Rotor DR1 online" and it's easy enough to find a genuine movie site.
Do you ever watch movies online?

Yes, it went straight to a warrning saying my device has 4 viruis and my battery was damaged and to leave this page at my own risk so I just deleted the tab from my browser and then ran 2 virus scans and all was well. Didn't mean anything personal just trying to warn others cause you never know.

The warning was probably a fake warning pop-up, they say you have a virus then try to sell you antivirus or something like that.
That site does have popups I'll admit, I'm using my iPhone for the internet, with a browser app that has a pop-up blocker, so maybe that's why I have no problems. (If I use the Safari browser I still get popups).
I think most people who use the Internet have adequate anti virus, anti malware etc, and are used to the odd pop-up, otherwise their computer would be knackered!
It is perfectly fair enough of you to warn people to be cautious though.
(I thought at first you thought I was personally trying scam people into getting viruses!)

So, if this link is an attempt at placing malware why is it even on this forum? It should be removed forthwith.
Arrgghh!!! For gods sake! It's not "an attempt at placing malware"!!! It's just a link to a film I thought people might like.
I watch movies on afdah.ws all the time, it's fine for me, if you're worried then find it somewhere else to watch, simple!
Afdah.com and afdah.ws are the same thing, run by the same people just different domains. They have all the same films on etc. I only use afdah.ws because my virgin media internet won't let me on afdah.com, it's blocked for copyright reasons.

Well, that may may work for you, but did not for me. Things acted funny when I tried the link so I assumed (perhaps poorly) that there really was something sinister. I just tried using the dot com and could get to the site. The dot ws did not. How do you think the idea of it being a malware delivery got started? I don't know other than from what I read in the responding messages. Someone must of had a bad time with it. Not your fault though.

Quest was the one who initially thought there was a malware/virus problem.
The site does have pop-ups as I said. I really think that Quest just got one of those pop-ups that pretends to be an antivirus scan telling you there's something wrong (but really it's just a pop-up).
