Gearbest August Special Sale! And my Youtube/Tumblr Beginner's Reviews

From my experience Gearbest has been exceptional with their customer service. For items in stock etc, you can send them a question and someone will respond to you within 24 hours sometimes even on weekends depending on where you live. They will usually try their best to help solve any issues or questions you may have. I think Gearbest probably has the lowest prices out of many other online shopping websites which is pretty neat for the most part! Check out their site, maybe you'll find something you like for a good price, be sure to send them a message to ask if the item is indeed in stock before placing order though, this is because I ordered before and it wasn't until I sent a message to ask for the status of my order that apparently that item I ordered was on back order due to popular demand! But other than that hiccup, Gearbest has been pretty good !

How many experiences have you had? I detest the way you often have to jump through hoops to see if products actually qualify for free shipping, adding to the cart etc. Why not simply state it upfront like BG does? For folks into building their own multirotors BangGood has a much better selection of parts and much better, often comprehensive customer reviews.

Hey Jackson,
Thanks for your comment. I've ordered at least 7-8 times from GB and haven't had any issues that could not be solved, as sometimes there are cases where the seller will take the money and ignore the request from the buy etc. But that has not been the case up to date.

Actually, up front, the item will say "FREE SHIPPING" on it next to the item. On some specific items though, it may only have the option of standard shipping which is not free but will technically increase the speed of the mailing period. For the most part, a lot of their items have the FREE SHIPPING option.

Ya I think I agree BG has more reviews that are more "comprehensive". But I would also say that BG has been around at least 2-3 years longer in the online market compared to GB. GB has been around for only about 3 years. So, they are a developing company, I think they are making their way slowly.I think to make the comparison, that is similar to comparing a 4 year old child to a 2 year old, and saying the 4 year old is better able to comprehend an everyday sort of task.

GB is building their inventory over time this can be seen- as they have new items more and more each time I visit.

I am a beginner with multirotors, so Gearbest is not a bad option for me. Also, because I have already ordered from them at least 7 times and if I ever had any questions about my orders or items, they have been fairly speedy in their responses and trying to solve any issues if there were any in a timely manner. I cannot say the same for BG. Now, I'm not saying BG is no good. I find GB have had the lower prices for the items that I have been looking for. Plus, having had past exchanges with their service, I think I can rely on GB more than BG - this would be from my own "experience".

Of course you don't have to go with GB if you choose not to. I just post these around forums and sites to share with others who might be interested and may possibly help someone find a good deal, I don't know! :)

I think GB have redesigned their website.... so it looks like they are on a new "sales"drive' at forum level!
Maybe this guy can explain why most of the online stores are all registered to the same company!
EverBuying and BangGood and even DealMachine are better to deal with.... and they are nothing exceptional - ALL online stores have slow deliveries... not because of customs and export... its because they do not have a stocked warehouse... the only buy in what is being ordered - and probably need to send in an order for a given high $$ value to get discount... that's the first 7 days at least of the delay in "processing" orders. There are more stores popping up in China and a new one in Australia - basically dropshipping or hot linking for commission.
BTW - "share with others who might be interested and may possibly help someone find a good deal" - how can you do this when all the stores charge more or less the same and take almost 40 days to make a full refund back to PayPal?

I don't know.. I haven't had to have any refunds. . i usually try to be extra extra careful with online orders. a lot of times there is the risk being taken when we pay something online.

perhaps you can help me, I try to be extra careful but...somehow even after using live chat to check they have my items in stock.... I seem to be too slow with writing out orders..coz after a week, when I check, EB say sorry item out of stock. And I have another problem, even when I check stock and place order and the process showing in status for 6 days... is Ok and then I get email notification of goods being shipped....but not all.
1 item not in stock.
Now, the items were extra sets of white props for Syma X8W and also black props. Now at school my teachers always called me stupid...because I can never understand some things. If EB had only emailed me sooner about this.. I would have said OK...send me any colour you have in stock - to complete the order.... but as my teachers say.. I cannot understand why they did not do that and save money on second shipping charge!
So because of this problems 21 days now since I ordered... 2 order in three shipments, 2 parts from Sweden, 1 coming from HK... I got tired of waiting and went to a shop just 100Km from me and purchased a DJI Phantom 3 Professional. Its sat here now watching me typing online and smiling.
Anyway.. can you advise best way to ensure I always get items in stock and arrive soon?

oh boy. I don't think you're stupid. Just have to be extra careful, by checking reviews, and contacting seller. and yes, a lot of sellers from these sites are not great in their english..
I just post deals that I find from GB , I don't exactly directly work for them, so I cannot really "make sure" of anything for you unfortunately.

You are able to purchase DJI P3? -i do not have that kind of money unforunately, I am just a student so money is tight for me haha. good for you to get a DJI P3

Phantom 3 ?? Yes I have one... but I am also lucky to have grown up kids who made donations because they knew it was an ambition to own.. and seeing frustration of waiting for delivery.
What makes it worse is... that too late.. I found a store just 100km south in Sydney who has Syma X8C and W in stock at au$159 !
