Greetings all
I am considering the purchase of a quad copter with video capabilities

I have been looking at the the DJI phantom3 professional and the HUBSAN X4 Pro
any suggestions as to which way to go would be greatly appriciated
Thanks Dave

Hi David you cant compare the two the DJI Phantom is miles better , its the cost of the Phantom is what stops most buyers , but I would pay the extra I have the Phantom 1 and thats great to fly so the P3 will be so much better than this

The comparison is like an plastic vs a golden apple. Sure it is obvious that one is better, and being better makes it cost more.

So you would go for the Hubsan then?

Cool TX too.

On looks alone it makes the Phantom look dated imo. That TX is cool as well.

Sure will be interesting watching these drone wars play out. Up to now, DJI has ruled the market but 3DR and now Hubsan and others are catching up fast (I think)

What gets me is that I would have gambled (and lost) that the Hubsan would have come in $50 - $100 LESS than the P3P since it's not as widely recognized yet.
Maybe after the pre-release period ends it will come down a bit. I'll be watching this one.
DJI's customer service has been horrid at best.

I'm soooo glad I waited to buy the P3P. I'd like to see how this one plays out.
