Hi guys I was wondering if anybody had any tips regarding the SD card reader in my quadcopter, there is a LED (warning) light flashing above my SD card slot, the same light flashes when recording or making a photo, only I can't record video or take photos even though the SD card is inserted, the LED remains flashing (LED flashes when SD card isn't inserted properly or is missing, according to the downloadable manual) are there any other user on here who have experienced this problem?? If so how did you resolve this issue?? Thanks guys and happy flying

You are doing this without the battery connected I assume? I guess the next step would be to try another SD card.
Thanks for the reply!! Yes I am trying this without the battery connected as specified in the user manual but it's not working,I've also tried a different SD card and I'm still experiencing the same problem,I think it might just be a manufacturers error in the circuitboard of the reader because the drone functions perfectly it's just the camera that's not working,I recently received this drone as a gift and the camera was perfect (then I let my father pilot my drone and he crashed it) so today I bought the same drone again and this time the cameras not working! ( and it hasn't crash landed ) which leads me to belive it's not my (amateur) piloting skills but an actual problem with the camera or SD module itself!!! Once again thanks for the reply and happy flying

I had a problem with my Runcam not working right, turned out to be TWO bad MicroSD cards. You might try them in something else and make sure their not locked into read-only mode.

Thanks for the reply, well it turned out to be a faulty SD slot so I took it back to the shop and replaced the quadcopter with a completely different model,I'm flying a "focus drone" from spectron toys,a Dutch manufacturer now,it's only a cheap (€49.95) model but the camera and SD card slot are separate modules with a cable that plugs into the main circuitboard,so I can replace the camera without having to swap the whole thing if it gets broke

If they let you have the quad you can fix the SD slot relatively easy.
