Tiny7x wont fly

Ok so last week I purchased a LDARC / KingKong Tiny 7x to let me practice FPV before I build my 5" race quad.

I got the Rx and Tx to bind as far as I can tell but when I go to fly it just sits there blinking. FPV food works fine.

i have a FrSky Taranis QX7, the tiny 7 has the XM receiver. Do you HAVE to run and program this through beta flight before you can fly? I thought this was a bind n fly.

I tried setting up the arm switch on the QX7 with no luck. The QX7 works on my sims fine, and I see the values working on the LCD, same with the Aux switches I set up.

Ive been to 2 Hobby shops, first one tried to charge me $30 to even plug it into beta flight and more if it needed working on. The second got it to connect to their beta flight but couldn't connect to the board. Only could connect CLI which wouldn't help us. They said the QX7 might have a stick arm sequence but I cant find it.

Can someone help me. Ive been pulling my hair out for the last 3 days and want to fly already.

The Rx was rd and is now green (bind successful?), and the FC keeps flashing pink, green and blue randomly. Im assuming showing disarmed and FPV channels.

Ill try and post a video if I can.

You'll definently have to set up your arm switch and modes before you casn fly. I don't know enough about your tx to offer any other advice, good luck.

Btw I had a tiny 7 and it was a blast!
 
Ok we’ll i got my cable and was able to connect to betaflight and enable aux1 to arm and now it’s flying.

I also had to change the QX7’s stock controls as yaw and throttle were mixed up.

But now I have a new issue, I watched a video that said you need to flash your board to betaflightf3 for the latest firmware.

Now the quad won’t connect to beta flight and says “no response from boot loader, programming failed”

And now I’m seeing conflicting info saying these might run Betaflight SPRACINGF3 firmware....

Did I just brick my board? How do I recover/fix this? Better yet where do I find the firmware for this board to flash.

Again lack of general info for these things is really hindering my progress. All I find is YouTube box reviews where people just fly them and say they are amazing.
 
Yea this board won’t enter boot mode.

I’m pressing the boot button on power up but it lights up in normal operation with the LED’s.

I could probably fix it if I could get it to enter boot mode per BetaFlight instructions. Idk why this FC wont go into boot mode.
