Thank you for replying. I had flown this quad daily for about a week, I had noticed that the yaw turning right was about 3x the speed of turning left. Other than that there was no problems before this. It was the oem 2s battery.
After researching more I found that this seems to be fairly common with this quad. (Some right out of the box). All have the same blue board. Whatever that small black box is (FET) it shorts out and allows the motor to run full throttle any time the battery is connected. The only remedy I have seen discussed is replacing the board with a red aftermarket board (a clone of the syma X8HG board). Unfortunately I have never worked on a board....or soldered anything....so I'm likely to screw it up.
Just one more question... if I replace the board, what is the likelihood that it will not bind with the transmitter? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I am completely new at this hobby.
