Receiver issues

Good evening,

I'm fairly new to the whole drone building experience, as I have had a 3D printer for a while now I came across printing Peons 230 quadcopter frame from thingiverse.

I've brought all the required parts to what I believe is correct, I'm also using clean flight to program the board. As you will see from the parts list attached below, they are a majority of my parts.

The issue lies upon getting a response between the controller and the drone. I have successfully binded the drone and remote and set the remote up for PPM - iBus it's just when I connect into clean flight and go into the receiver tab and try to move the throttle I receive no response what so ever, all of the boards are connected to power and the remote too.

Any advice would be extremely helpful, I have already blown an FP3 board today after getting a response and pluggin the battery into the drone and I don't want that to happen again.

I've got a flysky receiver I've never been able to talk to in betaflight but luckily the quad is a pnp and it was already set up so it works lol, but it's the X6B which I think is the newer version of the ia6B.

Sorry I can't help but since my deal is similar I'm subscribing to your thread because someone here probably has some idea of how to resolve the issue lol.

Select serial rx then ibus underneath it in config.
Turn ppm on in the tx setup menu.
Setup Aux channels with arm & mode switches on them. FAILSAFE
Oh by the way on my i6 I could only have ibus if I did the 10 channel firmware.
update. Don't know about yours though. Maybe cowboy knows.
& lastly are the +- signal wires on the right pins on the ia6b. I depinned mine yonks ago but I'm sure it's right side top.
If uart1 is dodgy & not working for you, Solder upto & try uart3 or what's available in ports tab then turn serial rx on.
But look into if you need the updated Tx firmware for ibus.

Ibus is ibus servos. 3 horizontal pins top right. Ppm is bottom left three vertical pins. Ibus is still ppm. difference between is miniscule unless you race.

Ten channel mod cancelled out ppm? Glad I haven't tried that yet one of mine only does ppm and now that I think about it:

The ONLY Flysky receiver betaflight won't pick up is the receiver in ppm, could this be something I've overlooked lol?

Nah ,mine still does all 3 pwm, ppm, ibus.
Ibus runs on the ppm signal, tick box for the serial rx on the uart your using in ports tab. Turn ppm on in the tx menu,
Them providing the wiring to rx is right you should be GTGO.
