Real Time Cameras

I'm not sure what these are called. What I would be interested in is a movie camera that transmits a real-time image from my quad to a receiver at my remote, one that has a reasonable range, so I can see where the quad is going. It should also be able to record the movie image I am seeing in real-time. What are they called and where can I get them?

gopro :)

I run 2 cameras on my quad. Gopro for recording video and one for fpv(first person view) that transmits to my goggles.

Hi mate your better off running 2 cameras one for HD video and one for FPV If you want to try FPV on the cheap look at the hobby king FPV kit has every thing you need all in one box and the turnigy action camera is good for its price its the clone of the SJ4000
this is the camera in action
and mounted on a Phantom there is a little jello this is not the camera it the gain to high on the gimbal

The best option to fulfill your needs would be a DJI Phantom. Live video feed is transmitted from the drone to your smartphone which would mount in a clamp on the controller. There are a lot of options, and some models even support a GoPro for FPV video. Check this out (and some of the others): http://store.dji.com/product/phantom-3-standard?from=buy_now

Oh, I see. I thought you were talking about a drone itself. You could look into GoPros, as they can be connected to an FPV transmitter.

HI mate the Phantom one is wi-fi has limited range , go pro are mega price , the lastest turnigy action camera has wi-fi , but for range your better off using 5.8g 32 channel transmitter receiver system , and most cameras will give a signal out for FPV but some have latency problems so the 2 camera system will be much better
