My first quadcopter

OH NO, that motor is on backorder, oh my godness, i'm going to crazy.
Please, choose for me the motors and props from hobbyking, that is not on backorder, and there are in the european warehouse. I will be grateful forever :)
(I'm really going to crazy... after long hours of searching the right motors and props, and finally i found them, and it comes true that they are in backorder :(((
 
Hi Arote i would go with these due to the others cost a lot more and seeing what you was looking at this is as close as i can get motors/money wise , it says 9x6 props but i cant find any try 9x4.7 but you may get away with 10x4.5 the difference between the 9x6 and 10x4.5 will not be to much , but no bigger pitch as you may start to hit max amp for esc

if you watch this test flight of my flame wheel using the ntm motors next size up from the ones i told you to get running 10x4.7 plastic blades , your see as quad drops i power up but due to flex in blades it still hits the ground this is why carbon blades fly much better , i will not recommend my set up as motors or over powerful and 2200mah battery lasts only mins lol, was just a test run its over a year from that one i am flying the talon v2 now, sorry about camera lady she tried to keep it in shot lol

Hi Arote yes my friend it makes fitting props easy , adds a little weight but they work well and look good , i have them on mine , and thank you for the kind words this is my new toy i fly this while still getting talon v2 ready
 
And, if i order items in backorder and items are not in backorder togehter, what will happen? The backorder items will arrive later?
 
Hi mate i was going by what the guys on hobby king forum was saying one had 12 motors 4 had bad bearing from factory , well all you can do is try them ,i had NTM motors for over a year and are still going strong , i changed motors as i wanted a low kv motor the motors are still working good
Let us know what you find so it helps others that read this thread , let me know how you get on i have looked into getting them my self but wanted a lower kv landed up with AGM motor part of the EMAX family they are pan motors 650 kv running a 14x5.5 props
Another problem we have in uk we cant always get the same motors as the USA can

In total it costs $250. Unfortunately i haven't got so many money, so now i cant buy this. I'm going to glean money, and next year i can afford.
 
Hi Arote , sorry was not about the other day just moved home and only just got the internet back on , all looks ok, your need a power board or your need to solder all the esc wires to battery wires , so will need a male XT60 and some wire to make a battery lead

the way to do this is to buy parts if and when you have the money , get FCB ,then frame , then save hard get 4 motors and prop mounts , Q brain, then props wire and battery all done you have it all
 
Hi Arote if you cant use battery on anything else you have Please do not charge it up ,once you first charge it a chemical change takes place in the battery and then you need to start using them , if you leave it as it is it will be good for months as its in factory mode , once they are charged you need to fly them or store charge them ;)
 
Hellloo again, I'm back! :)
So, I decided to start a competition, and win some money for the quadcopter.
It's almost finished, but I have one problem with the lipo.
When I use it, the voltage reduces to 1-2V. Then, it recovers. In the past hour its was 4,7 V, now its 5V.
What's happening and why??
 
Hi mate lipo will change as you load it up ( flying is loading) then as the battery cools down the voltage will come back up a little , You need to look at voltage per cell, dont go under 3.2v a cell I dont go under 3.7v a cell but this makes my batteries last years
11.1v will be at 12.? when charged 22.2 can be at 24v depends no battery make , if your quads is power hungry go for a high C rate
What battery do you have and is the quads spec as in thread
