please please please don't do anything hasty, it's just not worth it.
Mike's right, it's a very frustrating hobby - great when it's going right, but things do get lost, break, fail, crash, fly into trees etc etc and that's all just part of it - those things won't change, it's just part of the hobby, and they will happen again and again. And it is just a hobby, it's just fun playing with stuff, that's all, it's not anything more serious than that, and not worth doing something regrettable about.
You'll come round, you know you will, and chances are you may buy another one and have just as much fun with it, or look at alternatives like Mike says, a buggy, rock crawler or whatever. Until then, please just hang in there and get over the down patch.
