For a first time flier with limited budget you can go with the pretty standard Syma X5C-1
A nice copter to start learning the basics.
It is cheap around $50 on Amazon...if you are willing to spend around 160 English pounds you can get the Parrot AR drone 2.0 which is a great quad.
