The rash of sharks in coastal waters has been attributed to climate change. The water of the oceans has been warming causing the animals to seek food that is rising to the surface for oxygen. Deeper, colder water contains lower oxygen levels, so fish are rising to the warmer waters. Sharks prey on these fish and humans that like to swim in the warmer water. Hence, one of the side effects of Global Warming. But, nobody believes in Global Warming anyways.
