haha - first flights are hard ! Think my first flight was completely sideways into the ground, second one went way too high and landed on the roof, had to climb up to get it, third one straight into a tree breaking all my remaining props.
It does get easier though - probably one of the best starting exercises is to simply try and hold it in a nose-out hover for a whole battery pack, don't worry about driving around, just get the altitude stability nailed.
Mind you, i've been flying line-of-sight for about 2 years now, tried my first fpv flight just the other day, and that was a disaster too ! -
