Holy Stone HS700D and Potensic D85 Can't get follow me to work

Hi folks,
I own a Holy Stone HS700D and a Potensic D85 toy/hobby drones. One of the key features of these drones and the reason I purchased them was to be able to use the follow me feature. I have a Samsung S9 Galaxy phone which I connect to these drones via Wifi for FPV and to enable the advanced features with their respective apps. For the life of me, I can't get either of these drones to follow me when I enable the Follow me feature on the app. The feature gets turned on, and the drone just hovers in place and never follows me. I checked on my phone to make sure location services was turned on, made sure to allow the app to get access to location services but so far with both of these drones, follow me just doesn't seem to work.

Both of these drones are virtually identical electronics wise, same motors, same controllers, same props, likely all the same software in them. I even tested out the Potensic D85 using the Holy Stone Ophelia app, and that Holy Stone app even works with the Potensic Drone and vise-versa. So it's not a surprise that both drones I am unable to get the follow me feature to work.

Any ideas, advise, or additional steps needed to get follow me to work with these drones?

I got away from Holy Stone because they have had many quality control issues. If you can return it, I wouldn't hold on to it. As just a hobby grade flier try out a MJX BUGS, they make many different models and there is one that will suit your needs. I will never buy Holy Stone again because they are just full of problems.
