I am able to do that with relative efficiency. But my living room is only 20 ft long. I can see where my quad is facing.It your flying indoors try and hover with quad facing different directions if you master this you won't need headless mode
I live at the edge of Chicago so not a lot warmer here, but can bundle up and be fine for a few batteries, some people also fly from a parked car, that said as always would advocate for configuring a Sim and using that more to learn and understand how the thing will respond to various stick input.Thank you.

You need to fit different colour props to the front , when you build your own you put a light on the front

Yah fair I'm 35 and already despise the cold Got to take a vacation visit the folks in AZWhen you were 75 going on 76, you might not want to brave the environment too often.
I put red tape all over the front of my practice syma x25 so I know where the front is good for LOS flying I don't bother using the fpv on the phone for it but just for practice using the controls so when I launch the phantom I hopefully don't crash
Thank you.George gets busy just message him he will not mine , you can use spray paint on the props just make sure you spray it even over the complete prop
