    avoiding the clones...

I've got a CLRacing F7 on order. Of course I found out my rx is a dinosaur too, one PPM output for each channel, no SBUS, so have upgraded that too. It's amazing it ever managed to fly at all really...

    avoiding the clones...

as per my previous thread, I'm in the process of rebuilding my 450 quad and upgrading its parts, and I'm now looking at flight controllers. Rather than use the existing KK2.1.5 board I've got, I'd like to upgrade it to either a Naze32 Rev6 or a CC3d 32 bit, or something of similar spec...

Crash !!! Ahem, looking to upgrade parts, suggestions ?

just been reading up on stuff - oh my word I'm so behind the times - ESCs with SimonK firmware and built-in BEC, my PDB is just two strips on a circuit board that everything is soldered into - yuk, definitely time to upgrade. I'm liking the looks of those ESCs, and a regular Matek pdb works I...

Crash !!! Ahem, looking to upgrade parts, suggestions ?

Oops, it's been a long time since I last posted on here, apologies for that, how is everyone ? Anyway, last time I was out had a little bit of a crash... full speed head-first into the hillside while I was, ahem, practicing without auto-level. The two front frame arms pretty much...

    trouble sub-trimming my yaw

Hi all, I've recently noticed that my yaw doesn't seem to stay in trim. I suspect it's my transmitter, but the whole thing seems a bit odd, so I though I'd let you know my symptoms and see if anyone has any ideas: - FlySky FSi6 transmitter, and KK2.1.5 board - i've recalibrated both gyro and...

    rc controlled off-road vehicle

Prop got ahold of my finger today....:((

make sure you get it cleaned properly, I had a scare with infection in my finger this year, nearly turned into septicaemia, 4 trips to A&E, 2 nights in hospital, operation under local anaesthetic, and I'm left with a mallet finger for life, not fun - make sure you don't pick up an infection !

Cool Motorcycle filmed with Phantom 3

Nice ! Were those face-on shots shot with the drone too, or from a vehicle ? I think i'd be particularly nervous riding straight at a bunch of spinning blades on my bike !

    Lost my drone today

please please please don't do anything hasty, it's just not worth it. Mike's right, it's a very frustrating hobby - great when it's going right, but things do get lost, break, fail, crash, fly into trees etc etc and that's all just part of it - those things won't change, it's just part of the...

    rc controlled off-road vehicle

thanks mate, actually Renov8r recommended the Axial Wraith frames too, but on balance I think i prefer this GMade frame, just on the styling really, so I've gone and ordered the following: - GMade R1 frame -...

    Im done with this hobby

I've had swallows try to mob my quad a few times, think if i'm too close to where they're nesting, or something - gets a bit hairy trying to avoid them, since I'm sure they'd be sliced in half by my cf props

    rc controlled off-road vehicle

Please don't hate me, not a quad-related query and I don't think we have an off-topic section to post in, but at least it's to do with rc and fpv... So our place in Spain is rural and has very rugged land around it, and I was toying with the idea of getting an off-road car/truck/whatever to...
