    The forum is back online!

Thanks for the feedback. I assume that it's a caching issue somewhere, but I'll look through the DNS settings again to make sure that everything is updated properly.

    The forum is back online!

I think that is only affecting Windows and we don't run wine on our Linux servers, so I don't think that was the issue. The hosting company is typically pretty honest about issues, so I believe that their hypervisor simply got hosed. It is possible that it was due to issues with maintenance or...

*We're also sending this out as an email to registered members. There's nothing worse than getting this email from the company who hosts your web servers: Unfortunately, the site was down for more than a full day before they got to this point. From there, we had to spin up a new environment...

    Lipo Battery Basics from AMA

As long as cells/voltage, discharge rate, etc. are the same, you technically won't have any issues - but bigger battery = more weight, and depending on the rest of your system, it might not do you any good. There are a lot of calculations to do to find the optimal battery size for the best...

Interesting Drone...on sale at WOOT...EHANG GVRS2 Ghostdrone 2.0 VR iOS & Android Models

I'm no aerospace engineer, but I've always seen people ask why quadrotors weren't used on manned copters and the conclusion seems to typically be that one rotor makes more sense at that scale. If manned quads take off, the skies would look pretty cool! It could be safer too. A couple years...

Welcome! e010 is a challenge with that small transmitter! Some people make some pieces to make the sticks taller. Otherwise, there are some transmitter modules for full size RC transmitters that will fly it. Either way, don't just how well you fly based on the e010 w/ stock transmitter...

    quadcopterframe.com (everything marked down)

A while back, we started quadcopterframe.com to make a few bucks to pay for the hosting of this forum. We made a few sales here and there, but never even sold out our initial inventory, so I just marked everything down about up to 40% to start clearing it out so we can get some newer, more in...

    Forum Upgrade

I just did a quick upgrade on the forum. Downtime was less than 5 minutes or so. There was also an issue earlier in the week where we had a crashed database and had to repair it. Everything seems to be in good shape now, but if anyone notices anything funny, just shoot me a message or reply...
