Advice wanted on how to mount ESC s?

The bottom of the motor mount will not work. The 16 mm tube itself will work with 2 layers of double sided tape and a zip tie, but I am not sure which route to go. Any advice is welcome.

Need help wiring up my fpv setup

Just don't confuse your power wire with something else. The power, positive, is pretty much the only way you can do damage. So make sure you know what is positive and negative. If you have a voltmeter that may help.

A bad battery may have caused all my crashes.

Thanks for comments, exactly what I am going to do with it. I'll also use it to test stuff on the ground. It will never power another quadcopter or at least not in the air.

Need help wiring up my fpv setup

This is a similar set up. Don't know if it'll help but it may. Just look at the wiring. Should be very similar

Tarot T810 Hexacopter multistar 4114 motors

I am selling my Tarot T810 hexacopter with multi star 4114 - 320 KV Motors, Castle 35 amp ESC, and a Naza M V2 flight controller. It has a Futaba receiver so you will need the remote. On eBay I am asking $700 plus shipping. It is used and in pretty good condition. I have never crashed it but...

A bad battery may have caused all my crashes.

Today I noticed the battery that was on board in each quadcopter crash was a little soft to the touch and round. Although the battery seem to behave normally meaning that it never really died quickly, had a single bad cell, or got very hot, I noticed that after flying my hexacopter for about 10...

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

No, that much I know. The motors require a 6S battery. I've crashed a couple of times but have never started a fire yet :-)

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

Yes, I have since figured that out after making the video. The only thing I got right was the price :-) But hey, I did get some good flight time for $54.

Duh, add a zero to each. I really need to pay attention.

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

Well, if my scale is off, the weight of the batteries should be off equally. In the end, the big 6s battery is almost double what the two small 3s batteries weigh. I will check when I get home. I am playing hooky today. It is a good day.

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

One thing I do know, the two batteries were half the price and almost half the weight. Sorry but I am adding this paragraph about 20 minutes after the first one. So since in series voltage is doubled but amperage remains the same, maybe I was able to fly it longer because the flow of...

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

Each small battery is 5500mah. Would both make 11,000 in series? The big battery is 10,000. Not a completely fair comparison since the big battery is about a year old.

made a series connector. Two 3s batteries were cheaper, lighter, and had more capacity than a 6S

I'm not sure why these two 3s batteries turned out to be so much lighter than my 6s, and had a greater capacity as well. The two 3s batteries weighed almost half as much as the big monster 6s and had 1000 more milliamps than the 6s. I also got a little better flight time. Not sure the science...

Tested a $9 dollar range extender for the Phantoms. Not bad for 9 bucks

Since making the video I have done two more tests and both times got nearly a thousand extra feet. So for 9 bucks, I'll take it.

How the heck are these motors suppose to fit?

I am trying to make these tarot motors fit on my Ironman 650 but unfortunately, unlike my multiStar Motors where the wires come out the side, the wires on the Tarot motor come directly out bottom and there is no where to feed them through the mount. I even tried them on a Tarot t960 Mount and...

It is hard to complain that I did not get enough of a boost when you take into consideration the price. It did work but it was no miracle product.

Propulsion system equivalent to DJI E800 tuned propulsion system

I am in the process of rebuilding an Iron Man 650 as well. Post some images. As for the multi Star Motors, I have eight of them and two of them may have had issues although I am not completely sure they were the cause of the crash. Seems I had some stray windings and arcing. Whether or not that...
