yes I have the spanner the reason for the plumbers tape is to cushion the metal on metal.................apparently this is fine if you don't take your props off and on all the time I doubt if I will fly with these props and I have ordered a new set of DJI Props...

I have done some research and I believe the props with the metal inserts are for a Phantom 2 one guy said to use plumbers thread tape when using on a aircraft something about hard deceleration could loosen them so I went and bought a set of proper DJI props better to be safe than crashed...
